Amaraya Foundation CEO bags UGWUMBA MBAISE title in Mozambique

The President/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Amaraya Foundation Worldwide, Comrade Amarachi Kingsley Ogu has been honoured with a prestigious title of Ugwumba I of Mbaise from Mbaise Community in Mozambique in recognition of his numerous contributions towards the unity and development of Mbaise land.

This “Ugwumba title” was conferred on this illustrious son of Mbaise at an elaborate ceremony in Maputo, Mozambique on 29th July, 2023. The event which was a festival of sorts attracted many dignitaries from different parts of the world including the Nigerian Envoy to Mozambique.

Bestowing the Ugwumba title on Comrade Ogu, the Nigerian Ambassador to Mozambique, His Excellency, Amb (Chief) Yamah Musa Mohammed (Omeudo) harped on peace and unity of purpose among Nigerians in diaspora for accelerated development of their fatherland. He described Comrade Ogu’s elevation by his people as well deserved because of his overwhelming commitment to peace and grassroot development. He therefore urged him not to rest on his oars by keeping all his good works alive.

Many speakers at the event took turns to eulogize Comr Ogu for his undying love for humanity and described the Ugwumba Mbaise title that was bestowed on him as well deserved.

The event later turned to a fanfare as Mbaise men of substance from various circles danced and pumped champagnes in celebration of the golden title of their illustrious son. The event later progressed from jubilation to merriment galore before ending with elastic joy in all hearts.
