Amaraya Foundation has felicitated Nigerians as they celebrate this year’s democracy day. The President/CEO of the Foundation, Comr Amarachi Kingsley Ogu (Ugwumba I of Mbaise), while commending Nigerians for their steadfastness since the commencement of this democratic journey, called for patriotism to ensure a prosperous Nigeria everyone will be proud of. The philanthropist described June 12th as symbolic whenever “Democracy” is mentioned in Nigeria and prayed for the repose of the souls of those who lost their lives for the sake of our democracy. He equally praised those who are labouring for the enthronement of true democracy and prayed God to continue to strengthen them for the greater good of our country.
The CEO regretted the high inflation rate and the epileptic state of our economy which have subjected many Nigerians to untold hardship. He therefore called for drastic measures to rescue the ailing economy and put smile on the faces of the masses.
The CEO finally called on Nigerians to keep hope alive as we struggle to navigate through these economic challenges in a challenging world.
He concluded by wishing Nigerians a happy Democracy Day celebration, praying God to bless the works of their hands.
